​This piece was inspired by a sort I’m writing with friends, from left to right we have; Nettle- a character who’s protective and a little brash made by my dear friend ‘Timber’, Rainbow- A sweetheart that loves everyone created by my friend ‘Star’, and Nifty- my character who’s a little shy and timid but very loving. They’re on their way to start an adventure (or stir up some trouble) and they’re all thrilled to be doing it together! The background colors were chosen specifically for each character, Nettle’s being green as an allusion to her name, Rainbow’s being red to show her passion and courage, and Nifty’s a soft blue to express her sensitivity and loyalty. Overall the piece took about 2 hours, the sketch for it having to be redone several times in order to get posing right and spacing adjusted when I made it digital (I draw in paper and then do color and line art digitally.) I’m very happy with how it turned out and it helps symbolize my friendship with other Timber and Star!
